20-year-old man arrested and charged for trespassing on school grounds while armed in Richland County, police

Richland County, South Carolina – The 20-year-old Tyshawn Isaiah Lightbourne was arrested and charged for possessing a weapon while trespassing on the campus of Dutch Fork High School.

According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Lightbourne is facing several charges for the accusations including unlawful carry, possession of a stolen weapon and carrying a weapon on school grounds.

The authorities said the school administrator reported two people, man and a woman who the administrator didn’t recognize as students, in the school parking lot to the school security officer. The man and the woman were arrested once the school security officer encountered them on the school ground.

The male suspect was taken at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, while the woman was released, but she was given trespass notice from the property.

The school security officer found one piece of weapon on the man, while another weapon was found in their personal belongings.

No more details were immediately given.
