North Charleston, South Carolina – The 21-year-old Deandre Brown was arrested and charged in regards to the February’s shooting incident on South Allen Drive in North Charleston when several people were shot, the North Charleston Police Department confirmed.
Brown was being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center and per the jail records, he is charged with attempted murder, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and possession of a firearm by persons unlawful.
When officers responded at the shooting scene on South Allen Drive following the shooting that took place just after 3 p.m. on February 26, they found four people shot and injured. Later, one male victim died in hospital due to the injuries, while the others recovered.
The North Charleston Police didn’t provide more details regarding the case. Once more details are available, we will update the story.
