A 17-year-old Mount Pleasant boy last seen in April found safe by detectives

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina – The several-month-long search for the South Carolina teenager came to an end on Friday when he was discovered safe.

The 17-year-old, Michael McKeever of Mount Pleasant, was last seen by his closest family members on April 6. That day, he failed to return home from school, and he has been missing ever since.

Several local and state law enforcement agencies conducted the search for McKeever. Finally, it was announced that the teenager was located by detectives and that he was safe.

The law enforcement officials and McKeever’s family didn’t immediately provide more details about the search and if a further investigation is underway.

The family is thankful to everyone who took part in the search for their beloved one. In addition, the police thanked the public and media outlets for their efforts to bring the teen home safely.
