A man connected to the Tuesday hit-and-run in Florence arrested, report

Florence, South Carolina – One man is arrested connected to the hit-and-run that took place Tuesday night, police say.

According to them, Kinshae Dominique James is the name of the man believed to be responsible for the incident.

It occurred on Royal Street in Florence and resulted with one critically injured victim.

James is charged with hit-and-run causing great bodily injury, leaving the scene of a collision with great bodily injury, driving under suspension — 3rd or subsequent offence, failure to yield the right-of-way on a left turn, and habitual traffic offender, according to Capt. Mike Brandt.

The suspect was later released on a $102,000 bond.
