ALERT Tuesday morning crash on I-526 causes traffic delays

Charleston, South Carolina – Tuesday morning crash on I-526 causes traffic issues and delays. The crash happened on eastbound side of I-526.

Emergency crews and first responders are on the scene.

According to the police, the left lane is completely blocked near North Rhett Avenue.

Drivers are advised to avoid this area if possible. They are also asked for extra caution if traveling by.

Trooper Bob suggests taking Rivers Avenue to Remount Road and jumping on I-526 East at the Virginia Avenue entrance ramp towards Mount Pleasant.
