Boat strikes sea wall in North Charleston, U.S. Coast Guard intervention saves 3 people

Charleston, South Carolina – Early Monday morning boat crashed into sea wall in the Cooper River.

With the intervention of the U.S. Coast Guard, three boaters were rescued.

According to the report, the accident happened around 6:40 a.m. at the old Naval Yard shipyard near the Federal Training Center.

As a result of the hit, three people were injured. The small boat belongs to a dredging company.

No more details about the condition of the boaters or how the accident happened are available at this time.
