Charleston Int’l. Airport with several new nonstop flights, these are the new major cities included

Charleston, South Carolina – Starting from May, several new nonstop flight will be added in the daily flight schedule, Charleston Int’l. Airport officials confirm.

United Airlines added a few new nonstop flights that will connect Charleston area as the summer is approaching.

The new destinations are: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and Milwaukee.

According to the company, starting from May 27th, they will have the following schedule:

  • Cincinnati (CVG) – Three times weekly on Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays
  • Cleveland (CLE) – Three times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays
  • Columbus (CMH) – Four times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
  • Pittsburgh (PIT) – Three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
  • Indianapolis (IND) – Three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
  • Milwaukee (MKE) – Twice weekly on Saturdays and Sundays

“In the past few weeks, we have seen the strongest flight bookings since the start of the pandemic,” said Ankit Gupta, vice president of United’s domestic network planning and scheduling. “As we rebuild our schedule to meet that demand, adding in seasonal point-to-point flying is just one of the ways we are finding opportunities to add new and exciting service. And as we have done throughout the entire pandemic, we will continue being nimble and strategic with our network to add the right service to the destinations our customers want to visit.”

The company also expects to keep the same intensity of flight as pre-pandemic schedule to Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

All the current domestic flights will continue as usual.
