Community Resource Center to host grocery, hygiene product, baby supply and toy distribution event on Wednesday

Summerville, South Carolina – Another distribution event is set to take place in the Lowcountry area on Wednesday just in time to help those in need ahead of the holidays.

The organizer of the distribution event is the Lowcountry non-profit organization Community Resource Center.

According to them, the event is set to take place on Wednesday starting at 2 p.m. at Doty Park in Summerville.

The organizers say they expect to help a total of 2,000 families where groceries, baby supplies and toys will be given for free to those in need ahead of the holiday season.

The event has grown to become the largest toy giveaway in Dorchester County.

The giveaway will be followed by a news conference held by the Community Resource Center at 3:00 p.m.
