Crash in Aiken County, one teenager dies, two others injured

Aiken County, South Carolina – Saturday evening single vehicle crash resulted with one teenager dead and two others injured.

The accident occurred on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. on Blackstone Camp Road.

According to the reports, a pickup traveling south ran off of the right side of the road, overturned, struck a post and then struck a tree.

The driver, 18-year-old Kameron Davis, who was not wearing seatbelt at the moment of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle. As a result of the heavy injuries, he was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were two other passengers in the car, both teenagers. They were transferred in hospital for treatment.

Their condition is unknown at this time.

The crash is under investigation.
