Deadly shooting in North Charleston, ongoing investigation

North Charleston, South Carolina – Wednesday night shooting in a North Charleston motel was fatal for 48-year-old man.

According to police, the shooting occurred at a motel in the 7400 block of Northside Drive. When first responders arrived on the scene, the found the victim laying on the ground with apparent gunshot wound.

The police said there is open investigation, but didn’t provide further info on a suspect. A few witnesses were also questioned at the scene.

The identity of the victim was not released immediately.
