Early Friday morning house fire in North Charleston, Red Cross assisting four displaced adults

North Charleston, South Carolina – North Charleston fire crews were dispatched to a Brigham Court house fire in the early morning hours this Friday.

According to the dispatch, the house fire was reported at 3:50 a.m. When fire crews arrived at the scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the garage of a home.

The fire spread to the attic and caused significant damage to the garage roof they added.

Four people and their two dogs who were displaced are already assisted by the Red Cross.

There is ongoing investigation that should reveal what caused the fire.

Fire crews and EMS responded to the call.
