Early morning shooting in North Charleston, one person shot

Charleston, South Carolina – One person was shot in the early morning shooting that took place in North Charleston today.

According to reports, NCPD officers responded at the scene before 1 a.m. to the 4900 block of O’Hear Avenue after a 911 call in regards of a man shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering gunshot wounds.

Police didn’t provide details about the victim’s condition. The victim was immediately transferred in hospital for treatment.

First responders said they still have to determine the right location of the shooting. There are no suspects at the moment according to NCPD.

Anyone with information about the shooting, is asked to call 911 or North Charleston Police at 843-740-2800.
