Family of four are being provided financial assistance for immediate needs by the American Red Cross after a house fire in Summerville on Saturday

Summerville, South Carolina – The American Red Cross is helping a Summerville family of four after their house was damaged in fire over the weekend.

According to the local authorities, a house located along Greenwave Boulevard in Summerville sustained serious damage on Saturday displacing a total of four people. Per the American Red Cross, disaster-trained volunteers immediately assisted the family in an effort to help them overcoming the situation they currently face.

The American Red Cross provided the family with financial assistance for immediate needs, including food, clothing, shelter and referrals to other resources.
