Fatal housefire in Hollywood, woman, two dogs and cat are dead

Charleston, S. C. – Fatal housefire in Hollywood results with one woman dead, St. Paul’s Fire Department confirms.

The housefire happened on Rectory Rd. in Hollywood early Friday morning when one two-story house burned completely.

Two dogs and cat also died in the fire, while one dog survived.

There were five more people in the house but they all got out safely.

More details about the cause of the fire are not yet available. State Law Enforcement Division investigators will be tasked with looking into the case, as with any death related to a fire.
