First vaccinations postponed by MUSC due to shipping delays

Charleston, South Carolina – MUSC says it will be postponing its first vaccinations on Tuesday.

The first vaccinations were scheduled for 6 AM; however, MUSC says it will reschedule for the afternoon.

Andy Lyons of Roper St. Francis Healthcare says it already has the first shipment of vaccines and will begin administering them on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Trident Medical Center says the final touches are being put into place for vaccination plan for staffers.
