Friday night shooting at Bennettsville, undergoing investigation

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. – There is undergoing investigation for a shooting that took place at Bennettsville, the police confirm.

According to the authorities, the shooting took place Friday night around 6:30 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 800 block of Oakwood Street.

One man was injured with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The police said the man was alert when they arrived at the scene and he was transported to the nearest hospital shortly after.

No arrests were made and there is no suspect at this point. We expect more information about this incident as the police are interviewing the people from the surrounding areas.
