Gas prices in South Carolina go down again, report

Columbia, South Carolina – Gas prices slipped once again in South Carolina in the past week.

According to GasBuddy, gas prices in South Carolina were down for 1.5¢ on average, now selling for $2.58 per gallon.

However, the national average has remained the same as the week before. National average gas price is set to $2.85 per gallon.

In the latest report, GasBuddy officials noted that in some states like California, gas prices advanced.

It remains unclear if the stable prices trend will continue in the upcoming months.

Prices in Palmetto State are now 6¢ per gallon lower compared to last month, but 93.6¢ per gallon higher compared to same period last year.
