Local authorities and emergency crews found the body of the missing boater who went missing last month

Charleston, South Carolina – The Charleston based emergency crews and the local authorities ended up the search of the boater who went missing last month after they found the dead body of the missing man.

According to the report, the body found Friday afternoon was identified as Logan Wood, the boater who was reported missing on January 13.

The St. Johns Fire District recovered the body near Botany Bay in Charleston County.

“Our sympathy and prayers go out to Mr. Wood’s family and friends. Thank you to all area residents who supported first responders during our extensive search,” the St Johns Fire District said.
