Minor gets shot and hurt when an adult tried to unload a gun and accidently shot him

Colleton County, SC – 10-yer-old girl was shot in the face and suffered injuries after an adult was trying to unload a gun just next to her and accidently shot her.

The incident took place on November 5 at a home on the 1300 block of Chisholm Road.

The person that reported the incident and called 911 explained the situation to the authorities saying that it has been unfortunate incident.

CCFR officials reported that a bullet then struck the girl in the face.

“Firefighter-Paramedics found the child in stable condition and the injury did not appear life-threatening,” CCFR officials said. “Family members had controlled the bleeding prior to the arrival of Fire-Rescue.”

The little girl was treated at the scene, then was transferred to hospital for additional treatment.

Her condition is stable.

The shooting incident remains under investigation.
