Dorchester County, SC – Dorchester County Police officer responded to a 911 call regarding a female stabbing victim in a Dorchester County bar Monday night.
According to reports, officers responded at The Lobby Bar & Lounge just before midnight, but they couldn’t locate the stabbed victim. Officers described the situation in the bar as chaotic when several groups of people were involved in a fight and some of them leaving the place.
The fights were taking place in the bar as well as in the parking lot outside the bar. Authorities managed to get people to leave the building following several attempts.
Then they found a man with multiple stab wounds in the back and upper body. Witnesses said that the man was not involved in a fight, he got stabbed by mistake while helping a friend to get out of the bar.
The victim was transferred in hospital for treatment. No information about his condition was provided.
The investigation about this incident is ongoing.
