More food distribution events coming this week in Charleston, report

Charleston, South Carolina – Two food distribution events will be hosted in Charleston area this week.

The events will be hosted by Community Resource Centers to help Lowcountry residents.

The first event will take place on Monday, May 17th, at the Ridgeville Town Hall, 105 School Street, at 3 p.m. The host said this will be a “massive groceries distribution” event.

The host partnered with Ridgeville Mayor Clarence Hughes and the police department.

The second event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19th. The event will start at 2 p.m. at the Community Resource Center North Charleston, at 3947 Whipper Barony Lane.
