North Charleston, South Carolina – The 19-year-old Javeon Breon Kayshard Campbell is the suspect wanted by the North Charleston Police Department believed to be responsible for a deadly shooting that happened last month.
NCPD released Campbell’s identity and photo for the first time since the shooting incident, and the department is now seeking help from the community in locating him.
Campbell is facing active arrest warrants for murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime regarding the deadly shooting that took place on June 29, in the area of 3615 Dorchester Road- Cheap Way Gas Station.
Campbell is accused of shooting dead Charrod Philips, 17, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department advise everyone not to approach Campbell if seen in public as he is considered armed and dangerous.
Campbell has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet tall and weighs 120 pounds.
The police didn’t provide additional details about the suspect.
