One man is arrested connected with February Northwoods Mall shooting where three people were shot

Charleston, South Carolina – One man is arrested in a connection with the February 14th shooting when four bystanders were injured, police confirm.

The name of the suspect is Adrian Lllavoyd Grant, 21-year-old from Charleston. Grant was arrested Saturday morning and he is the main suspect in the shooting. According to police, the arrest was made after a high-speed chase.

Grant is charged with three counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime, Deputy Chief Deckard said.

The three victim that got shot were not Grant’s intended targets.

All three victims were taken in hospital and survived following the shooting that occurred around 2 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

North Charleston Police Chief asked for public help on a press conference on March 1st regarding this case and many people gave useful tips and information that led to the arrest of the suspect.
