One officer injured in Conway crash Tuesday afternoon, report

Horry County, South Carolina – A crash that took place in Conway Tuesday afternoon resulted with one Horry County police officer injured, reports confirm

The accident occurred near Country Club Drive and Long Avenue Extension in which two cars were involved. Because of the injuries, the officer was transferred to the nearest hospital for treatment. No information was provided about his condition.

One of the vehicles was Horry County Police Department pickup truck, and both vehicles were towed shortly after the incident. The road was closed for sometime but reponed around 6:00 p.m.
