Charleston, South Carolina – A man was shot Thursday night while he was driving his car in the Hollywood area, police say.
Deputies received a call from the hospital in regards of a man shot around 9:45 p.m.
According to the victim, he was shot from a driving vehicle while he was driving his car in the Hollywood area.
The bullet struck him in torso, Capt. Roger Antonio said.
Deputies headed at the scene and they found victim’s vehicle in a mobile home park in the 5300 block of Savannah Highway.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was immediately transferred in hospital for treatment.
His condition is stable.
Police said there is ongoing investigation about the shooting and they will inform the public with more details when available.
