Charleston, South Carolina – Charleston man is facing two charges related to the solicitation of a minor after being arrested by the police, South Carolina Attorney General’s Office confirms.
The arrested was made by the Mount Pleasant Police Department, while This case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
Danny Shawn Daugherty, 49-year-old, is now facing two charges, one for criminal solicitation of a minor and one of attempted disseminating obscene material to a person under age of 18.
Danny is facing up to 20 years in prison as each felony is punishable up to 10 years.
According to the investigation reports, Danny Shawn Daugherty solicited a person he believed was a minor for sex and sent a sexually explicit image to someone he thought was a minor.
The bond is set to $250,000.
