Prayer service held for missing Adams Run man; search still ongoing

Charleston County, South Carolina – Authorities are still looking for an adult man from Adams Run who was reported missing over a week ago.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office provided information that the 54-year-old Thelonious Lamar Green was last seen on the evening of June 4 in the Penny Creek Road area, where he attended a gathering.

Green was operating a blue 2003 Ford F-150 with the license plate number AEB-647 from South Carolina the last time anybody saw him.

Authorities conducted a search throughout the area but were unable to find Green or his truck.

His family is concerned for his well-being since he suffers from memory loss and takes medicine for health problems on a daily basis.

Authorities provided a description of Green, saying he is 5’ 11″ tall, weighing around 230 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.

The Reverend Dr. Myra Meggett of Mount Horr AME Church led a prayer service on June 11 at 9:30 p.m. and was hosted by the Green family.

If you have information regarding Green’s disappearance, please contact the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office at 843-202-1700 or Detective William Martin at 843-529-5327.
