Saturday evening two-vehicle crash on I-26 results with two people injured, investigation

Two vehicles were involved in the crash Saturday evening on I-26 that resulted with overturned vehicle and two people injured.

According to the incident report, the crash took place near mile marker 214 between the Montague Avenue and Dorchester Road exits.

South Carolina Highway Patrol officials said that two vehicles, a Lexus SUV and a Volkswagen Jetta, were involved in the crash.

As a result of the crash, the SUV overturned with two people inside.

Both of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at the scene.

Police didn’t reveal the cause of the crash and no more details were given.

There is ongoing investigation and more information is expected in the upcoming days.
