SC adds 1,053 new COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths

South Carolina has added 1,000 over new COVID-19 cases.

DHEC reported 1,053 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 7 confirmed deaths on Sunday.

These new numbers bring the statewide total of confirmed cases to 202,422 and total deaths to 4,050.

Sunday’s report also found Greenville that had the highest amount of cases at 174.

DHEC also reported 8,279 individual tests (not including antibody tests) as of Saturday. Of those tests, 12.7% of them were positive.
