Shooting in Dorchester County shopping center, one person in critical condition

Dorchester County, South Carolina – One person is in critical condition as a result of the Thursday morning shooting that took place in Dorchester County.

According to police reports, the dispatch received the first call around 1:30 a.m. of a shooting victim at a hospital.

Just after officers learned the location of the shooting, they responded to The Shoppes of Windsor Hill Crossing’s parking lot.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office officials said they didn’t receive 911 call regarding the incident.

As soon as first responders arrived the scene, they put tapes and secured the scene. Evidence markers scattered throughout the parking lot were also seen later in the early morning hours.

The victim is in critical condition.

No details about a suspect were provided.
