Dorchester County, South Carolina – Friday morning crash on I-95 North was fatal for one passenger, while the driver was transferred in hospital for treatment.
According to police report, the crash took place Friday morning around 11:40 a.m. at the 77 mile marker at I 95 N.
The accident occurred when a motorhome that was traveling north ran off the exit ramp went down embankment, struck a tree and overturned.
First responders said that two people were in the vehicle in the moment of the crash. The driver suffered injuries and was transferred in hospital for treatment, while the passenger died on the scene as a result of the injuries.
Both were wearing seatbelts. There is ongoing investigation.
