The South Carolina Superintendent of Education tested positive for Covid-19

South Carolina – “Many other education officials have worked virtually from home in the past months, I plan to the same while in isolation.” – this is how Molly Spearman the South Carolina Superintendent of Education started her tweet today.

She was tested positive for Covid-19 following a testing on Dec. 31. Molly was notified with the results on Sunday.

She also informed the public that while waiting for the result he was already isolated as her son and her husband were already tested positive for the virus last week.

“Our family is in good spirits and is fortunate to have only mild symptoms,” Spearman tweeted.

The quarantine guidance and isolation from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control will apply for the superintendent as for any other citizen in South Carolina.
