Tuesday night police chase ended up with one suspect arrested, report

Tuesday night chase ended up with one suspect to be arrested, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office says.

According to them, the chase took place at the late-night hours on Johns Island after officers responded on Cane Slash Road following a 911 call in regards to a domestic incident.

As soon as the officers arrived at the scene, the suspect got into his vehicle and fled the scene.

That led deputies to pursue him until Walter Drive and Royal Crown Boulevard where the suspect ran on foot before being detained.

He was immediately taken to hospital for evaluation.
