Two food distribution events for those in need took place on Saturday in Charleston, report

Charleston, South Carolina – Two food distribution events took place on Saturday in Charleston and North Charleston.

The events were organized for those in need of food.

One event started at 11 a.m. at Destiny Worship Center in North Charleston. Boxes of food were given to those in need.

Those in need were able to pull up to 3625 Azalea Drive in North Charleston in their vehicles. The event ended when all the supplies were exhausted.

The second event took place at Bethany Baptist Church, Saturday afternoon.

It was similar to the first event, drive-through style. Boxes of food were placed in the trunks.

This event was organized with the help of Community Resource Center.
