Walterboro man found guilty for killing man in 2018, sentenced to 35 years

Walterboro, South Carolina – Jermaine White, 45-year-old of Walterboro, was found guilty for the deadly shooting that took place in 2018.

The victim was identified as Lennon Lee Poland.

Poland was fatally shot July 2018 in a wooded area close to White’s popular hangout spot.

The jury needed only about 20 minutes to reach a verdict.

White will spend next 35 years in prison.
