Wednesday evening shooting incident, vehicle collision in North Charleston result with at least 5 injured, police report

North Charleston, South Carolina – Shooting incident and vehicle collision leaves a total of five people injured in North Charleston Wednesday evening, police say.

According to police report, three people were injured in a shooting incident, while two others were injured in a vehicle collision.

North Charleston Police deputies were dispatched at the 2700 block of Ranger Drive just before 8:45 p.m. Wednesday night in regards of a gunshots fired.

When they arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering injuries sustained in a crash.

Both were immediately transferred to hospital for treatment.

When deputies arrived to the hospital, they found two other people suffering gunshot wounds in the medical facility.

Deputies also found another, third gunshot victim, in the area where the first incident was reported.

He was also transferred to hospital for treatment. Police didn’t reveal the condition of the victims.

Officers confirmed that all of these injuries are part of a related incident. No more details were provided.

There is ongoing investigation and we will update the story once more details are available.
