Wednesday morning shooting in Beaufort County, three people killed inside a home, police

Beaufort County, South Carolina – Wednesday morning shooting in Beaufort County resulted with three people shot to death, the local authorities confirmed.

According to police, there is ongoing investigation about the fatal shooting incident that took place to a home on Eddings Road on St. Helena Island.

Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded at the scene at 11:30 p.m. following a 911 call in regards to three people being shot and wounded.

“When they arrived, deputies secured the scene for Beaufort County Emergency Services to tend to the wounded people: two were pronounced dead at the scene, one was transported and later died at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital,” the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators were working at the scene gathering forensic evidence and interview witnesses.

“It is believed that all parties involved in the shooting have been identified and located; there is no public safety threat,” the sheriff’s office said.

The identities of the victims were not released immediately.
