GREENVILLE, South Carolina – Early Saturday morning, armed man on a roof of an apartment building was shot by a police officer.
According to the reports, the incident happened at Pelham Village Apartments in Greenville around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
The police responded to a 911 call to the complex after complains about noises on the roof.
The police officer shot the man standing on the roof at least once. The injured man was in stable condition and was transferred to the nearest hospital for further treatment. The identity of the man was not released.
The name of the officer hasn’t been released too. As a standard procedure, the officer is placed on paid administrative duty until the internal investigation is finished.
