DHEC asks parents to vaccinate their children as soon as possible, announcement

Charleston, South Carolina – DHEC asks parents to vaccinate their children aged 12+ ahead of the summer months.

We are all aware that the children are less likely to suffer serious complications from the Covid-19, but there are still chances some of them to develop unwanted mid-term and long-term issues.

Furthermore, DHEC added that vaccinating the children will surely stop the Covid-19 spread which will lead to protect the elderly population. According to the newest plan, all children aged 12 and more are eligible for vaccination.

Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine approved for children. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be only available for people aged 18+.
