DHEC reports 208 new Covid-19 cases in Thursday report in Palmetto State

Columbia, South Carolina – Palmetto State added 208 new confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in Thursday’s DHEC report.

According to DHEC, two people died as a result of the virus.

The latest number of cases is higher for 75 over Wednesday’s report.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of Covid-19 cases in South Carolina now reaches 491,133, while the total number of deaths is 8,554.

The positivity rate in Thursday’s report was 3.2%, down from 4,4% compared to Wednesday.
