It looks like Trump has just confirmed he is about to run for president once again in 2024 while answering a question to a police officer

The former president Donald Trump has never officially confirmed that he will run for president once again in 2024, but in multiple occasions he hinted the possibility and he uses every single public appearance to give a “you will see” type of answer continuing his well-known narrative since leaving the White House office.

Maybe Trump has his own reasons for not officially announcing his presidential run yet, but one can easily conclude that he is very seriously considering another presidential run from his recent public appearances and rallies. Some go even further claiming that Trump already secretly started his presidential campaign.

As many other officials, Trump visited New York on Saturday to honor the victims in the 9/11 terrorist attack, a visit for the 20th anniversary of the attacks.

Trump used his New York visit to discuss with the local police officers over a different kinds of topics including the latest Afghanistan events and the 9/11 terrorist attacks then let the officers ask him whatever they wanted to.

Trump called the 20th anniversary of 9/11 a “very sad day for a lot of reasons,” referring to both the attack and the botched withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan in recent weeks, and praised the brave NYPD officers.

“I grew up with you and you are New York’s finest. You’re incredible people. I know many of you,” said Trump.

Trump also slammed Biden once again calling the complete Afghanistan withdrawal operation “gross incompetence” and he criticized many other aspects of the operation and what should have been done instead.

Trump went on to tout the economy, national jobs numbers, regulatory rollbacks and increased financing for the military under his administration. He also suggested that his administration was “getting along with the other side” while he was in office.

One NYPD officer, apparently a huge Trump supporter, took his chance and asked the former president if he is about to run for president once again in 2024. The question brought laughs in the room and initially Trump answered “That’s a tough question,” but then he continued:

“Actually, for me, it’s an easy question. I mean, I know what I’m going to do, but I’m not supposed to be talking about it yet from the standpoint of campaign finance laws, which, frankly, are ridiculous,” said Trump. “But I think you’re going to be happy,” the former president said.

It looks like Trump seriously considers another presidential run in 2024, despite the fact that he will be remembered as the first president in the history of United States when members of Congress voted for the second time to impeach Trump a week after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and days before President Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.
