McDonalds in search of new employees in Charleston area, more than 200 positions available

Charleston, S. C. – McDonalds is hosting hiring day today, May 11, and looks forward to fill more than 200 available positions in Charleston area.

According to the company, they look for 205 employees for 32 locations as they expect pretty busy summer this year.

“As local employers, we’re proud to provide employment and educational opportunities to our crew members and look forward to welcoming new employees to our McFamily this summer,” said Ryan Booth, McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “We are a people business at our core, and as we welcome customers back into our dining rooms, the safety of our employees and customers is a top priority, as it has been throughout our 66-year history.”

The hiring day will last from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. to all restaurant in Charleston and surrounding area. Those seeking a job can text “apply” to 36453 or can apply in-person.

The first 20 in-person applicants at each restaurant will be given a $5.00 McDonald’s gift card.

The company announced that they will follow the Covid-19 safety procedures during the hiring day.
