Over 100 residential units without power Wednesday morning in West Ashley, reason still unknown

Charleston, S. C. – More than 100 residential units are left without power Wednesday morning in West Ashley.

Dominion Energy reports 105 outages across few blocks near Savannah Highway. First outages were reported around 6.15 a. m.

The power is expected to be restored until 8 a. m. as crews are already working on the case.

It’s still unclear what caused the power outages at this point.

Traffic lights were also affected. Drivers are reminded to use non-working traffic lights as stop signs and additional attention is required.
