Palmetto State added almost 600 new Covid-19 cases, DHEC report

Columbia, South Carolina – South Carolina added 577 new confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in the latest DHEC report announced early Sunday morning.

According to the report, 14 additional deaths were registered.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 17,000 molecular tests were made and the positivity rate was 4.5%.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of positive cases now reached 475,601. The total number of registered deaths is 8,222.
