Thursday night moped crash results with one dead in Berkeley County, report

Berkeley County, South Carolina – Thursday night moped crash in Berkeley County results with one dead, South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed.

According to the report, the moped went off the road and crashed into a mailbox.

The victim was driving westbound on United Drive near Charity Church Road.

The driver was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the injuries.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released.

There is ongoing investigation about the crash. We will update the case as soon as more details are available.
