Mask requirement ends in North Myrtle Beach, report

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Wearing face mask will no longer be required in North Myrtle Beach starting Sunday.

COVID-19 state of emergency was not extended on the city officials special meeting that took place on Friday.

The state of emergency was put in place last March and officially ends today, Sunday, March 28th.

The mask requirement came to its end, but officials still urge residents and especially visitors to practice social distance and wear masks.
