The 25-year-old Saturday’s shooting victim in North Charleston identified by the authorities

North Charleston, South Carolina – Saturday’s late night shooting incident in North Charleston was fatal for one male victim, the local authorities confirmed.

As we already reported about the incident, the fatal shooting took place Saturday late night at 11:32 p.m. off of Ranger Drive in North Charleston.

When North Charleston Police Department officers responded at the scene following the 911 call in regards to a shooting, they found a Nissan Altima stopped in the roadway.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene following the shooting  despite officers’ efforts to save his life.

On Monday, the coroner’s officer identified the victim as the 25-year-old Marcus Imperial from Ridgeville.

A total of three males were in the parked vehicle when another vehicle approached them and opened fire. The police didn’t say if the other victims were injured in the shooting.

As of now, no arrests have been made regarding the incident.

The investigation is ongoing and we will update the case once more details are available.
