ORANGEBURG COUNTY, South Carolina – Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one teenager is charged with murder of another teenager in incident that took place in October 2020.
The identity of the boy was not released because of his age, but the police said he is 17-year-old.
“This has been a lengthy and non-stop investigation to get a resolution in this case,” said Ravenell. “We have made an arrest, and we are continuing the investigation to find out who else may be involved.”
The incident took place on October 5, 2020 when 14-year-old boy was shot to death.
Police received a 911 call for a shooting that came from a wooded area on Tee Vee Road.
Another person, 23-year-old Angel Goodwin, has also been charged with conspiracy in connection to the case.
According to the police, more arrests connected to the case are also possible in the upcoming period.
