The power outage will postpone the in-person teaching process in Fort Dorchester High School, students to continue with virtual learning for now

The power outage that happened last week is still not solved in Fort Dorchester High School and the students and the teachers are forced to continue with the virtual learning on Monday too.

According to Dorchester School District 2, there have been a serious damage in the main electricity system that required them to change the main system in order to solve the issue.

DD2 officials said the power went out last Wednesday, and they sent students virtual on Thursday.

No precise time frame was given when students and staff are expected to get in the school again, but DD2 officials believe it might happen on Wednesday.

When DD2 first announced the power outage last Wednesday, officials had estimate they would have the power and in-person call would resume by Friday.
