The suspect wanted for last February’s armed robbery in Georgetown was arrested by the authorities on Tuesday, report

Georgetown, South Carolina – Nasir Muhammad, the suspect wanted for the last February’s armed robbery, was arrested on Tuesday, police confirm.

According to the local police department, the suspect was arrested near the intersection of Hazard Street and Emanuel Street on Tuesday.

He was wanted for an incident that happened this past February where a victim was robbed at gunpoint by Muhammad, according to police.

The suspect has been charged multiple charges including armed robbery and pointing and presenting a firearm.

“The Georgetown Police Department would like thank the community for their assistance in the identification and apprehension”, said Interim- Chief William Pierce.
